Lectures are usually on the first Thursday of the month and are followed by

a reception for socializing. All lectures are free.

Pomona College requires anyone attending on-campus events to be vaccinated.

November 2, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. Priscilla Schwarz, Teaching Assistant Professor of Art History at Oklahoma State University presents "Burt W. Johnson and Pomona College: family, art, and community in the early 20th Century." Priscilla Schwarz shares her grandfather’s story.

February 1, 2024 at 1 p.m. Steve Comba, Benton Museum Associate Director: “Through the Eyes of an Elementary Student,'' the NACSC program and the Cahuillo Basket Weavers and Their Legacy exhibit. FAF will be guests.

April 4, 2024 at 1:45 p.m. Board Elections begin the program followed at 2 p.m. by presenter Donna Marie Minano, co-founder of the Inland Valley Repertory Theatre : "The Incredible Impact of the Performing Arts in Our Community."

May 2, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. Member artist Aleta Jacobson: An outdoor pencil drawing workshop entitled “At One With Nature held at the California Botanic Garden. 30 participant limit and a materials fee of $25.00 

May 16, 2024 Joint Spring Luncheon with FAF: Woody Dike will be the featured guest speaker at Frank Dining Hall. In July 2023, at his father Phil Dike’s exhibit at CCMA, Dike’s son, Laguna Niguel-based urban designer and landscape architect, Woodward (Woody) Dike, described his father’s multi-faceted life. In an interview for the Laguna Beach Independent, he revealed, for example, that his father had also been a prolific poet and insightful philosopher. Woody Dike gained artistic chops by working for iconic furniture designer Sam Maloof, whose career, like that of his father, blossomed in Claremont.
